HM the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

The four day period of national celebrations for the Queen’s remarkable service to her country will be from Saturday 2nd to Tuesday 5th of June. Monday and Tuesday will be official bank holidays. That week is also half-term! There are a good number of national and local events planned. Taking these into account and after making careful local enquiries we are planning a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday 3rd June at 11:15 am. The service is for the whole of the Community and in addition to giving thanks for our Queen we will be offering thanks for the past 60 years of our village and the many people and organisations which make our locality such a good place to live.
